Overview:

• AWRSC YT Surgeons Summit will be an in-person conference; authors must attend and present at the conference in-person
• Papers may have multiple authors; at least one author must register for and attend the conference
• The submitting author should input all author details and upload their abstract using the abstract submission form.
• Authors should indicate the type of submission (eposter, Video abstract) on the form and whether they are willing to accept an alternate format

Submit your abstract for:

• Video Abstract Presentation: If accepted for oral presentation, you will be offered an 3 minute presentation wit 2 minutes discussion timeslot in a dedicated session
• Electronic Poster Presentation or display: If accepted for e-poster presentation, you will be offered a 5 minute presentation and 2 minutes of discussion timeslot and have the e-poster on display throughout the conference or choose to have your e-poster on display only. E-posters in the categories "Case Reports and studies “ are accepted for display only.

Language: English. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.

Word limit: 250 words excl. title, authors and affiliations. 100 words for video abstracts. No reference to the authors or the institution should appear within the body of the abstract or in the abstract title.

Review of abstracts:
All abstracts will be double-blind reviewed for the quality of their educational/ theoretical/research content, their adherence to submission guidelines, and their link to the conference theme. The AWRSC YT Surgeons Summit Scientific Committee holds the right to offer the author another presentation type or category than the type and category chosen during submission.

Abstracts publication: By submitting an abstract to AWRSC YT Surgeons Summit submitters give their consent to the publication of the submitted abstract in the conference material (E.g. App, website, AWR Magazine)

Registration of the presenting author

It is mandatory for the Presenting Author to register for the conference to submit an abstract. The username and password to submit abstract will be sent to the registered delegates.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts / videos you may submit, but you may not submit a video abstract and a written abstract on the same study / data set. You must select either a written abstract submission or a video abstract submission.
